Frequently Asked Questions
The X-Wind project will generate 425 megawatts of clean wind energy, making it one of the largest renewable energy investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Once operational, the wind farm will supply approximately 11% of Bosnia’s total annual electricity consumption, significantly reducing dependence on fossil fuels.
The project will reduce over 1.5 million tons of CO₂ emissions per year, equivalent to planting more than 74 million trees annually, supporting the transition to a carbon-neutral economy.
The project will be implemented in multiple phases, starting with licensing and infrastructure, followed by construction and energy production. Full operation is expected upon finalization of permitting and development phases.
